It is important to note, that anything might be flattering in person, they will not be slimming in camera. So your wardrobe styling session will be a time where we access you wonderful wardrobe, have you try on pieces and together we create our short list of what will photograph the very best.
We understand that you know clothing well and your taste is impeccable. Our goal is to showcase 4-5 distinctively different styles, perhaps even try something new to showcase your different personalities. Here is general rules of camera-friendly wardrobes.
Fitted clothing that shows your shape works best for photographs. This applies to any body type. Outfits should hug your curves, especially along your top half. ( loose, flowing skirts are fabulous as long as your bodice or top is snug) Skip that billowy, blouson top, or anything might be flattering in person, they will not be slimming in camera.
Sumptuous textures like lace, chiffon, beadwork or embroidery lend a rich element to your photos. Avoid high –contrast patents or prints, which are distracting. Logos or graphics are define “don’ts”
Think about dresses that are unique in color and or mood.
