As a photographer, I love exploring Maryland and discovering new places to capture its beauty. I especially enjoy visiting Annapolis, the state capital and one of the oldest cities in the country. Annapolis is a treasure trove of colonial architecture, cobblestone streets, historic landmarks, and scenic views.
Some of my favorite spots in Annapolis are:
- The Maryland State House is the oldest state capitol in continuous legislative use and the site of many important events in American history.
- The William Paca House & Garden is a restored 18th-century mansion and two-acre garden that belonged to one of the signers of the Declaration of Independence.
- The Annapolis Collection Gallery is devoted to six master artists and one of Old Annapolis’s most extensive collections of black and white prints.
- The Annapolis Chorale is a performing arts organization that presents concerts of classical, contemporary, and popular music at various venues in the city.
- The Annapolis Harbor is a picturesque waterfront area with boats, shops, restaurants, and views of the Chesapeake Bay.
